Applegreen (Chase Estes), previously known as Odetta, works in the medium of music collage using found samples and sounds, glued together with live instrumentation. Inspired by the concepts of clarity, peace, introspection and fun. His sonic palette includes sounds from ethnographic recordings, electronic dance music, new age, jazz and nature.
Chase is also a very talented designer and visual artist. He has contributed to much of the FOUNTAINavm visual aesthetic.
