Tyler Bloomquist
Tyler Bloomquist is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice and experience includes graphic design, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, letterpress and silkscreen printing, film-making and exhibition curation, as well as having served the Salt Lake creative community as an instructor in the Multi-Disciplinary Design program at the University of Utah and as the Director of THE BLOCKS. Tyler currently works at Modern West.
His obsession with music started early and has morphed from meticulous collecting and knowledge gathering of multiple genres, DJing, spending 5 years curating and sharing a wide range of music with patrons of Graywhale and now creating his own music. His work currently focuses on improvised and loop-based/collaged instrumentals created with guitar and effect pedals.
